PHOTO REPORT: Disney Springs 6/18/2020 (New Face Masks, Rainbows of Merchandise, Construction Updates, and More!)

What started out as a normal day at Disney Springs turned into an exciting day quite quickly! We arrived at the Orange Garage when they opened, as usual, expecting to have a quiet morning taking pretty photographs around an empty Springs, when we found this sign at the bottom of the escalator.

Disney face masks coop

Disney has finally brought the much-anticipated character face masks to Disney Springs! These masks have been available for pre-order on shopDisney for a while as a pack of four available in three different sizes, and while those who have pre-ordered their masks haven’t received theirs yet, these masks are now available for purchase in person here in Disney Springs.

Disney face masks coop2

We made our way straight to Marketplace Co-Op to get in line. These doors, which have been the only entrance to the Co-Op since the reopening of the Springs, became an exit for today. We were directed to enter the PhotoPass building, where we were able to receive our chosen masks, and then move into the rest of the building to pay.

Rainbow onesie

Over at World of Disney, we found more rainbow merchandise, including this super cute new onesie, which retails for $19.99.

character kitchen aprons and potholders

We also found these wonderful new character kitchen wearables, including an apron line and an oven mitt line. Our favorite was the Belle in her classic yellow ball gown. For pictures of the full line and a video walkthrough, see our article here.

My adventure book journal up front world of Disney 1

We also found the latest edition in the movie replica journals line, this “My Adventure Book” replica from “UP”.

Mickey balloon lanyard pin traders

Nearby over at Disney’s Pin Traders, we found this Mickey balloon lanyard, which was originally due to debut in the parks in March. It’s available now and retails for $12.99.

Narwhal soap basin

We stopped into Basin to take a deep breath of the good smelling soap, wash our hands, and see what soap was available. This one is usually around but we couldn’t resist this narwhal’s cute face today.

Remy arribas bros

Over at Arribas Brothers, we found this little Remy holding some ingredients. Did you hear the latest news about this year’s EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival? It was just announced!

Closed art of Disney

Art of Disney still remains closed after reopening for a few short days. Cast Members could be seen inside rearranging some of the artwork.

Lego photo nametag

Over at the LEGO Store, Cast Members have adopted the photo badge idea, wearing a photo of themselves without a mask on. We think this is a great idea and would think it is particularly helpful for children.

Rainbow Savannah bee company2

Savannah Bee Company was showing their pride with their merchandise today. We love seeing displays like this!

Look up 3

Today’s edition of “Look Up” has us ready for rain showers. Do you know where to find this view? Let us know in the comments!

loungefly americana sequin disneystyle 7 1

Over at DisneyStyle, we found this new Americana Loungefly mini backpack, despite the moratorium on new merchandise at Disney-owned stores in the Springs. We love this sequined, patriotic bag, just in time for the Fourth of July. For more details and pictures, see our article here.

Darth Vader dad socks

At Star Wars Galactic Outpost, these socks were in a bowl at the register, and we couldn’t help but giggle. It seems like the perfect Father’s Day gift to us!

City works construction shade awning Disney springs

In construction news, City Works has had some finishing touches done to their awning. The shade screens were rolled down when we went by today.

City works construction 3

There were also fans, lights, and sprinklers installed where there were only bare wires and basic receptacles yesterday.

Mm construction 1

The future location of M&Ms, which yesterday had the outer wall stripped down to its metal studs, was cut completely open today. We’re very interested to see what this will look like in the end!

Johnny was masks cotton

In addition to Disney itself joining the ranks of mask suppliers in Disney Springs, the much-anticipated JOHNNY WAS masks arrived! We must say, we think these masks are the prettiest in the Springs.

Springs seal

Thank you for coming along with us today! We give today our seal of approval, we hope you do too! Until next time, stay safe, stay happy, stay magical.
