  1. I have seen a handful of ridiculous articles going around about changing splash mountain. That’s absurd. It’s an original, if you don’t like it to ride it. I am sick of people trying to change everything bc everyone is offended by something. Come on it’s a classic leave it alone

    • I agree with you Lisa 100%! Leave it alone… the ride is full of animal animatronics portraying a rabbit outsmarting a fox and a bear…wow, so offensive! Changing pirates of the Caribbean was bad enough. It’s family entertainment folks.. quit looking at everything thru some damn PC lense!

  2. splash mountain is and awesome ride and story. the story about a rabbit and bear. Kids love it splash mountain needs to stay. leave the ride alone!

  3. Greetings:

‘Good Lord Almighty’…..When will all this ‘superficial nonsense’ regarding the ‘appropriateness’ of Walt Disney’s ‘absolutely charming’ film classic SONG OF THE SOUTH come to an end? This latest incarnation against the film by ‘questioning’ the political correctness of the SPLASH MOUNTAIN attractions at various Disney theme parks is ‘beyond’ absurd.

The same ‘warped mentality’ is behind the recent decision of HBO executives to ‘ban’ the legendary Hollywood film classic GONE WITH THE WIND from the HBO ‘platform’. (Note…..lest we forget…..’Oscar winning’ black actress HATTIE McDANIEL gives memorable performances in both films.)

This is my advice to the ‘decision makers’ currently in charge of THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY: keep SPLASH MOUNTAIN attractions as they are…..intelligently ‘release’ a new home video edition on 4K of SONG OF THE SOUTH…..and ‘let the chips fall’ where they may.

Otherwise…..the day will arrive when these ‘radical insurgents’ will attempt to ‘tear down’ all of the statues depicting Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse at ‘all of the Disney Theme Parks’.

    Have a 👍[good] day!

    Best,
    William Johnson
