PHOTO REPORT: Disney Springs 7/2/2020 (New Merchandise, New Face Masks, and More)

Good morning from Disney Springs, the happiest shopping plaza on earth! We were ready to find some new merchandise, but it turns out that we weren’t the only ones. A bit of a line formed this morning in preparation for the 10 am opening of World of Disney.

Cast Members came out and reminded everyone to maintain six feet between parties for our own safety. With COVID-19 cases on the rise in Florida, we’re happy to see Disney enforcing safety precautions.

Once inside World of Disney, we were pleased to see the lovely display of the character aprons finally complete with Cinderella, whom we had found yesterday at Wonderful World of Memories. We really do love this collection and we’re glad to see it displayed so well.

Speaking of characters we love, we found this dashing fellow as the handle of a whisk in the homewares department of World of Disney, along with a matching dish drain. For lots of pictures and more information, see our article here.

We snagged one of the hot items for the day- this Haunted Mansion stretching room puzzle. As an activity for families of all ages can do together, puzzles have soared in popularity recently, and Disney themed puzzles have been especially popular among the theme park loving crowd. For more pictures and information, see our article here.

If you’re looking for the perfect accessory for your next park day, look no further. Disney has just released three new scrunchie sets, and with three to a pack, you’ll have enough for your hair, your wrist, and a friend. For more pictures and information, see our article here.

Once we finished up at World of Disney, we headed over to Spice & Tea Exchange to see what was new and flavorful there. We found this hidden Mickey while perusing the salt section. We can’t wait to find hidden Mickeys in the parks again!

We stopped in at the PhotoPass building at Marketplace Co-Op to see if they had restocked any of the Disney character face masks since yesterday, and they had. Only two prints showed partial unavailability today, a big improvement over yesterday’s selection.

At the Art of Disney, this little Sorcerer Mickey caught our eye. We are so ready for some Mickey magic! Are you? What’s the first thing that you want to do when you return to the parks? Let us know in the comments!

While we were there we got to watch this artist draw for a little while. It’s so amazing watching how talented these Cast Members are!

At Savannah Bee Company these new “Bee Kind Bee Love” hats caught our eye and our hearts. The honey isn’t the only sweet thing in this shop, the Cast Member here are always so friendly!

Over at The Ganachery these beautiful Millennium Falcon Pops look amazing- and delicious!

In face mask news, Levi’s has received their long-awaited shipment of fabric masks. Styled to look like classic bandanas with elastic ear loops, these masks are sold three to a pack for $15. The package says large, but only comes in one size and is suitable for an adult.

Anthropologie has restocked their masks but with a different style this time. These masks have braided ear loops and a quilted face. They retail for $10 for one mask.

We had a great day at the Springs, we hope you enjoyed coming along with us! Have a magical day!
