For a cool place to grab a drink and a bite to eat, you’ll want to head to the Nomad Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Let’s head inside and see what health and safety measures have come to our favorite lounge at the park.
Social distance markers are placed near the host stand outside for guests to queue up if needed before entering.
Plexiglass dividers have been added to the front of the host stand. There’s hand sanitizer next to the stand as well.
Inside, the bar is currently closed for guests to sit at, but guests can still order alcoholic beverages once seated at their table.
Plexiglass barriers have been installed by registers and drink stations to keep bartenders and guests safe at this time.
The rest of the lounge is open for guests to kick their feet up for a moment and relax. Some of the tables are not available to abide by social distancing procedures.
A QR code is printed on a paper flier that’s on tables for guests to scan for today’s current menu. If you’re unsure what to order, we recommend the chicken wings, that we believe might be even better than those at the Polynesian Village Resort. The full menu is also set out on the table (though this is new as it wasn’t an option when we visited earlier in the week during Annual Passholder previews.)
This is still a great spot to grab drinks at the end of a long day, or even for a midday break.
We ordered the Lamu Libation (left) and the Leaping Lizard (right). Check out a previous post for our full review of these drinks.

Love Nomad Lounge! Did you noticed if they still had the GLUTEN FREE CHURROS? And how did seating work same as before first come first serve? Also was there outdoor sitting available still? We love this lounge outdoor or indoor. One of our favorite places. Thank you for all your information.
