PHOTOS: Scaffolding Removed After Facade Refurbishment in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom

Back in March, we noticed some scaffolding and a construction wall in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom. At the time, this small refurbishment project impeded the breezeway next to Island Supply by Sunglass Hut, but otherwise wasn’t much of a bother. Today, the scaffolding has finally been taken down, revealing refreshed walls, some with seemingly new paint.

You can see the dark square on the ground where the construction area had been set up.

The paint on this archway has been freshly touched-up.

This also opens up some more seating inside and out.

With the walls removed in the breezeway as well, it is much easier to access the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom portal.

We had predicted that the scaffolding would only be up for a couple of weeks, but of course that was not meant to be, with the parks closing in March for the COVID-19 pandemic.

This area of Adventureland looks much neater now that construction walls have come down.
