Wait times during the Cast Member preview day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios have been low, so we’re practically walking onto some of the busiest attractions. We waited 15 minutes for Slinky Dog Dash and got pictures of all the new safety measures the ride has put in place.
At its busiest, Slinky Dog Dash has a queue going all the way across the bridge around the corner, and social distancing markers have been put down in preparation for that.
Attractions Cast Members are all required to wear both face masks and face shields.
Water fountains remain open in the queue.
Plexiglass windows have been placed between some of the open areas of the queue, so guests remain protected even when the line wraps around itself.
The windows still let you look around at the theming of the attraction while you’re waiting in line.
As we approached the front of the line, we stopped more frequently. Parties made sure to remain on their proper “please wait here” signs.
A hand sanitizer dispenser was waiting for us at the end of the line.
Like most attractions, Cast Members were leaving at least one row of each ride vehicle empty between parties.
The first vehicle unfortunately had to leave us behind.
The rest of the ride continued as normal.
