Universal CityWalk Hollywood to Remain Open with Only Outdoor Restaurant Seating to Limit COVID-19 Spread

Following the announcement made yesterday that all indoor operations were to be ceased immediately in Orange County, the reopening of Universal CityWalk Hollywood was thrown in to doubt.

By closing “indoor operations”, establishments such as restaurants and entertainment venues would be impacted, hence the very core of CityWalk’s activities. So, how has the announcement affected Universal Studios Hollywood’s downtown leisure district?

Well, we are pleased to report that CityWalk has confirmed that they will still be going ahead with “limited operations”, but will remain open on their regular schedule from 12-8pm daily. This is good news for visitors in the area, who may otherwise be struggling for a fun evening activity under these newly-enforced government regulations.

One main issue that has had to be addressed, however, is the serving of food in restaurants. To work around the new restrictions, CityWalk restaurants have shared that they will still be serving their customers, however only outdoor seating will be provided. Bars will not be open.

CityWalk are assuring that all updates will be shared over on their official website. As always, you can stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today and WDWNT for more details.
