“We Love Mickey” is almost like a mantra to most Disney fans, but in Hong Kong Disneyland, it’s also the name of their nighttime projection show. When the theme park reopened with new social distancing measures in place, we were surprised to see that the “We Love Mickey” projection show had resumed.

This update comes courtesy of our friends at HKDL of Fantasy, who happened to catch a brief moment of the projection show back in full swing.

The projections are displayed on the buildings throughout Main Street, with music piped in to add to the experience. Although there was a crowd gathered, guests maintained social distancing as best as they could while gathering on Main Street.

This comes as a bit of a surprise given that this experience would mean that a crowd would gather. Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort have announced that when they reopen that all parades, fireworks, and other events that create crowds would be temporarily suspended, along with meet-and-greets and other Guest interactions.
