According to Bloomberg, 7-Eleven has agreed to purchase Marathon Petroleum Corporation’s Speedway gas stations for $21 billion dollars.

This acquisition will add 3,900 stores to 9,800 locations. The deal is the second-largest purchase of a U.S. target this year. Previously, Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. (7-Eleven franchiser) spent $3.3 billion three years ago to also buy Sunoco LP gas stations.

  1. Wish the could get with Disney and theme these stations up. Be fun to have unique fuel Stations on property

  2. Once Universal’s rights to The Simpsons expires, they should turn one of these into a Qwik-e-Mart just to shake things up. After all, it’s Disney IP.
