Annual Passholder Appreciation Days has officially begun here at the Universal Orlando Resort and we’re ready for a day of checking out all the latest UOAP perks. As soon as we arrived, we spotted the Premier Passholder parking lane.
Unlike the last time Universal Orlando Resort offered a dedicated passholder lane, this one is marked with a gold and orange colored sign and labeled for Premier Passholders specifically.
Before we hit the parks, we grabbed a new UOAP strawberry lemonade Voodoo Doughnut to give us a sugar rush for the day.
The UOAP park entrances have also returned, and we’ll be interested to see if this helps at all on busy days.
Arriving in the UOAP Lounge, we were excited to find a new 30th anniversary shirt featuring Mel’s Drive-In, Jaws, and the iconic entrance archway.
The sparkly 30th anniversary pin has also been restocked at the Universal Studios Store.
Another piece of 30th anniversary merchandise has arrived, but this time it is on the U Design kiosks. You can now create a custom phone case with the anniversary artwork that features some classic Universal Studios Florida attractions.
Passholders can now pick up their exclusive UOAP popcorn buckets, while supplies last. We grabbed ours from the popcorn cart in San Francisco, located in front of Fast and Furious Supercharged.
Speaking of Fast and Furious Supercharged, the family is out on a mission, so the attraction is closed temporarily. We’re glad we had one last time to visit the family.
A Day in the Park with Barney has closed temporarily, too, but you can still meet Barney and his friends in KidZone.
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts is using Virtual Line, and we noticed the area around the entrance feels a lot more crowded. This is the same problem we encounter at Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure whenever they use Virtual Line, too.
We spotted one of the animal actors training outside, so we stopped to watch. Can you blame us?
Now, let’s make our way to Islands of Adventure to see what’s happening.
The temple is sealed over at Poseidon’s Fury. We haven’t heard any word on when this attraction may reopen, so we’re glad we had the opportunity to see it last week.
A small wall has appeared as set enhancements take place in Jurassic Park near Camp Jurassic.
Toon Extra in Toon Lagoon has a small selection of Annual Passholder merchandise available. You can always stop here and grab your magnets and buttons if the line is too long at the UOAP Lounge.
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Be sure to keep following Universal Parks News Today for all the latest updates!
