While supports for the illuminated canopy at TRON Lightcycle / Run started appearing at the construction site a few weeks ago, actual installation of the canopy began just yesterday. We checked on the construction site again today to see if any progress has been made.

There was work being done to a new canopy piece still on the ground.

A diagonal white support has also been added since yesterday. The reddish steel supports are only temporary during the installation.

You can begin to see how the canopy will curve around the outside portion of the track before guests will enter “The Grid” show building.

Workers were also on the roof of the show building and a cherry picker was near the coaster’s entrance into “The Grid.”
