PHOTOS: New Trees and Landscaping Freshen Up Production Central at Universal Studios Florida

It looks like the landscaping department has rolled through Production Central at Universal Studios Florida.

New trees have been added to the sidewalks outside Shrek 4-D and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.

It really freshens up the area and provides some much-needed shade in the Florida heat.

While the trees appear to be the same on both sides of the street, it does give a slightly different appearance. By Shrek 4-D, they seem to evoke the woods, not unlike those that surround Shrek’s swamp.

Meanwhile, the trees outside of Despicable Me Minion Mayhem appear like they belong in a suburban park not far from Gru’s headquarters.

Plant life and decor are important to the theme park experience, so it’s always good to see things constantly improving at Universal Studios Florida!
