The walkway connecting the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to the Magic Kingdom is nearing completion. Though we aren’t sure when exactly it will open, a temperature screening tent has been set up at the end of the path for a month now.
The tent has now been expanded to cover the entire sidewalk. It previously was only on the side section away from the main path.
This entrance for the pathway is temporary while construction is finished on the docks in front of Magic Kingdom. The ramp will lead Grand Floridian guests into the Monorail station, which they can then exit towards Magic Kingdom. Though it will be a somewhat odd way to get to the park from the walkway, it will provide guests with some extra shade.

Yes! For some odd reason, I find this path very exciting to anticipate. Years ago, I wandered west out of the Magic Kingdom, and was so disappointed to see that path end at that time. Can’t wait to stroll all the way from the Contemporary to the Poly!
