Take in the charm of one of the loveliest Disney World hotels with a tour around a Deluxe Studio room at Disney’s Old Key West Resort!
Disney’s Old Key West is just a boat ride away from Disney Springs.
The resort is themed to the Florida Keys and its beautiful colorful buildings are surrounded by lush foliage.
Bedroom
The entry comes right into the bedroom area.
This room features two queen-size beds with room beneath them for bags and such.
To the left of the door is this fun, colorful photo art piece.
This room is more oddly-shaped than most standard hotel rooms.
The bedside table has the remote in sealed plastic, so you know it has been disinfected. The telephone and light switches are in reach of both beds.
The room is full of fun artwork, including this picture of Minnie Mouse lounging on the beach.
One bed is next to the balcony door, but thankfully there are shades to pull down.
Balcony
Let’s step out on to the balcony patio for a closer look.
The balcony puts you right in the middle of a Floridian forest, with two chairs and a table in a well-shaded area.
Sitting Area
Moving back into the bedroom, we pass this table and chairs, which sit next to the door that joins two rooms. The rather small TV swivels to either face the beds or to the table.
We love this artwork telling us how far away different locations are from Key West. You may recognize some Disney-film locations like Tortuga from Pirates of the Caribbean or Honolulu in the Lilo and Stitch logo font. The Magic Kingdom sign also appears to be a repurposed Jungle Cruise boat name plaque.
Next to the table is a dresser with a TV above, which notably mostly faces just one of the beds.
There’s a small hallway that contains the closet and kitchenette.
Kitchenette and Storage
The kitchenette has a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and sink.
An ironing board, vacuum, safe, and fire extinguisher are in the small closet.
Bathroom
There’s a mirror on the bathroom door.
Inside the bathroom is another sink with more counter space and a mirror above it. The frosted window let’s in natural light.
