Universal’s Islands of Adventure
- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey will soon benefit from new lockers for guests to use before boarding, in an expanded area bigger than the current allocation
- As construction on the Jurassic Park “Velocicoaster” continues, new plants have been added around the rockwork for additional landscaping touches, and more work has been done on the rapidly-progressing attraction

Universal Studios Japan
- Annual Pass summer blackout dates have been canceled at Universal Studios Japan, with added benefits given to passholders as an added bonus
- Watch the incredible “East Meets West II” quartet
- Get a first look at the “Koopa’s Challenge” Mario Kart attraction, coming to Super Nintendo World
New Merchandise
- There was plenty of new Harry Potter-themed merchandise at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood this week. We found Hogwarts alumni apparel, pins and even face masks
- As Halloween Horror Night fever takes over Universal Studios Florida, we found new “30 Years 30 Fears” magnets, lanyards, socks, and face masks depicting icons and villains
- A new Spirit Jersey-style pink Universal Studios sweatshirt has arrived in Florida
- Show off your love for Voodoo Doughnut with this new “The Magic is in the Hole” merchandise line from their CityWalk Orlando store
