Today marks the deadline for Annual Passholders wishing to cancel their passes to call in and request refunds, and guests have struggled with long wait times, disconnected phone lines, and frustrations over refund calculations.
Thankfully, Disney is aware of the issue and has updated the Annual Passholder “Know Before You Go” landing page to reflect that phone lines for V.I.PASSHOLDER Support will remain open past midnight tonight, however guests must get in the phone queue by midnight (ET). As long as you’re in the queue, your call will be handled by a Cast Member, even if it’s after midnight:
Passholders looking to cancel their passes can utilize the personalized link in the email from Disney Destinations on July 14, 2020, or call V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277 if paid in full or (888) 701-4100 (Option 3) if on the Monthly Payment Plan by midnight tonight.
Starting tomorrow, August 12, Passholders who selected to cancel their pass will no longer be able to use it for entry to the parks.
If applicable, refunds to original form of payment can be expected by mid- to late September. Refunds may take up to an additional month to receive if original form of payment is not available.
