Walt Disney World Adds Park Hours Through November 14, No Update on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

With park calendars previously only populated through November 7, park hours have now been added through November 14. These park hours are the same reduced hours we’ll see go into effect starting in September:

  • Magic Kingdom: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • EPCOT: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Hours from November 15 onward have yet to be added to the calendar:

Back in June, Disney Parks made the following announcement regarding the fate of popular holiday events such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays:

We are monitoring our new environment closely, and will make a decision on these events as we continue to learn more from government and health officials. As always, our goal is to explore every option and look at ways in which we can still host events and festivals full of Disney magic, while still operating responsibly with the health and safety of our guests and cast members in mind.

If Disney follows a similar pattern as to what it did with the reopening events, they may decide to cancel Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, while keeping the Festival of the Holidays, albeit with a socially-distanced Candlelight Processional, or no Processional at all, given reduced operating hours. As was recently announced for the upcoming Halloween season, Disney is merely modifying select offerings typically available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, like the option to wear costumes, and allowing all guests to partake during normal park hours with no upcharge from September 15 through October 31.

We expect an announcement regarding these events to be once we’re closer to the holiday season, contingent on progress made during these past few reopening months at the parks.

    • Yes I agree !I’m in the same boat! Platinum passholders should stand up to Disney world and demand more! Longer park hrs! And reimbursing the water park we can’t go to this summer somehow! We are getting screwed over! We pay the most!

    • If your a Plantium Passholder goes to guest services at Disney springs and complain! If they get enough complaining they will change their ways!

    • No one should back down and take this…We pay good money for our Plantium Pass! Please complain to guest services at Disney springs and request longer park hrs and water parks to reopen!

  1. My educated guess is that Disney will not have MVMCP this year, and will follow suit how they are handling Halloween. Decorations and treats but not a private party.

  2. People who just up and cancel thier pass don’t care, but I care about my pass I use it daily! I need Disney World to do the right thing and be open for my family! It’s my Florida family’s recreation and exercise ! Especially at night after work and I rely on the water parks for swimming exercises in the summer!
