Disney Introduces “Inclusion” as Fifth Key in Cast Member Training Worldwide

Any Disney Cast Member will tell you that they’re trained to stick to the Four Keys – Safety, Courtesy, Show, and Efficiency to bring the best in Disney service to guests. In light of recent events, and to harbor a more welcoming environment for all Cast, the following announcement was issued to employees earlier today:

“For more than 60 years, the Four Keys of Safety, Courtesy, Show, and Efficiency have provided a foundation for our culture and guided our renowned approach to service as we’ve welcomed Guests from all over the world.

As we keep moving forward and working together to drive meaningful cultural change, we are introducing Inclusion as a new key and will be rolling out the Five Keys globally across the segment.”

The new key represents the company’s commitment to cultural transformation, and with it being part of the keys, it will be part of everyday working life for Cast Members.

  1. I don’t even know what this means ,Disney includes everyone as long as they can afford it. Lets see if Disney has an inclusion program for poor people.

      • Of course it is. And during a time of considerable budget crunches, much better to spend money on diversity training classes as opposed to ensuring that people can get back to work so they even have to take the classes in the first place.
