It’s an exciting week here at the Universal Orlando Resort as we get closer to the officially announced Halloween Horror Nights houses. In anticipation of the crowds this weekened, Universal Studios Florida has put some measures in place to help make the guest experience as enjoyable as possible.
We’ve often mentioned the long lines for food and drinks and now there are two new food trucks parked near the entrances for the houses.
The signage for the Halloween Horror Nights houses have been installed now, but is still covered with a curtain.
Retro marquee playing cards can be found in the Universal Studios Store at the entrance of the park for $10.
In Diagon Alley, we spotted a Team Member sweeping up some of the small puddles around the area. We then realized that these water markings looked a little magical.
The merchandise stand in London recently started selling Wizarding World merchandise, including Christmas decorations. Now there is a festive looking garland along the roof of the cart.
Over at Islands of Adventure, it looks like Poseidon’s arm is getting some repairs at the entrance of Poseidon’s Fury. There’s a small barricade and tarp over one section. It’s still taking us some time to get used to the new DreamWorks music playing in the area, too.
We managed to see a little sneak peek of a “Velocicoaster” vehicle sitting out on the track. The tarp covering even has an InGen logo. Spared no expense.
Since the reopening in June, we’ve noticed the cracks getting worse around the entrance of the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. It was recently repaired during the closure, but it desperately needs attention again.
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for joining us and be sure to keeping following Universal Parks News Today for more updates.
