PHOTOS: Mickey Floral Planter Refreshed at Disneyland Entrance; Social Distancing Signage Installed at Disney California Adventure

Even though a formal reopening date hasn’t been announced yet, preparations are well underway to get Disneyland and Disney California Adventure ready for guests.

Over at Disneyland, the Mickey Mouse floral planter that greets guests as they enter the park has undergone a serious refreshing.

With Disneyland closed since March, Mickey had started to fade, but now the face of the world’s most famous mouse looks as bright and defined as ever!

We can’t wait to pass the gates into the Happiest Place on Earth once more… whenever that may be.

Over at Disney California Adventure, we spotted crews installing signage promoting social distancing on Buena Vista Street.

You can see the rectangular sign on the ground near the Red Car Trolley stop as it’s prepared to be installed on the lamppost.

Smaller circular signs were being placed in planters. This should make them easily visible by guests when they enter as well as from the benches.

When the coverings are removed, we can see the full brown and tan-colored sign.

Signs were being installed up and down Buena Vista Street as workers quickly covered the area with them.

In keeping with current guidelines, parties are asked to stay at least six feet apart to help prevent the possible spread of COVID-19. Guests over the age of two at the Disneyland Resort are also required to wear face masks except while remaining stationary to eat or drink.

When we passed by later in the day, we saw the uncovered signs, which remind guests of the resort’s COVID-19 policies.

By the entrance, stickers were placed that make sections of the seating near the front gate unavailable, helping to distance guests.

Will all of this work going on at both parks, it seems that the Disneyland Resort will be ready to reopen their parks as soon as they get the green light.
