Since its refurbishment announcement on August 31, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort updates have been in full swing. The resort is set to fully reopen next summer.
Fences now block the porte cochere and main entrance to the Great Ceremonial House.
The remodeling of the Great Ceremonial House has resulted in resort check-in being moved to Pago Pago.
The traditional main lobby entrance has been blocked off as an emergency exit in order to accommodate the refurbishment.
Barriers and signs have placed across resort property in order to guide guests to new pathways, buildings, guest service and bus locations.
The check-in at Pago Pago gives guests access to check-in, busses, Disney’s Magical Express, and the Transportation and Ticket Center.
Guest pick-up and drop-off for Disney’s Magical Express service has moved as well.

How nice for guests at Pago Pago. They get to see busses, and Ubers, and vans, and all of the other activity that usually takes place in the port cochere.
I know when Coronado was undergoing renovations, they gave guests a special commemorative pin. Any word on any special perks for guests willing to brave the construction at Poly?
