PHOTOS: Voyage of the Little Mermaid Billboard Removed Amidst Rumors of Attraction’s Permanent Closure at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
After a nearly 30-year run at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, “Voyage of the Little Mermaid” remains dark after the theme park shutdown due to the vast majority of performers still being on furlough. The facade of the attraction has remained untouched, with no social distancing markers installed, furthering rumors of the show’s permanent closure. Today, the show’s billboard was removed from the side of the theater inside the Animation Courtyard.
Here’s what the facade of the attraction looked like up until recently, with the billboard still intact despite rumors of a permanent closure.
As of today, the billboard has been removed, with just the metal framework in place.
The queue remains without social distancing markers at this time. Disney has not announced plans to bring back Voyage of the Little Mermaid, nor hinted at a replacement.
