Tokyo Disneyland to Begin Serving Alcohol at Table Service Restaurants Starting October 1st

In a major first for Tokyo Disneyland, the park will begin to sell alcoholic beverages at some of its sit-down restaurants beginning October 1st. Like at Disneyland (prior to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’s opening), alcohol has never been served at Tokyo Disneyland outside of Club 33, with beer, wine, and cocktails being exclusive to Tokyo DisneySea since opening day in 2001.

The following restaurants will offer alcoholic beverages:

  • Restaurant Hokusai
  • Eastside Cafe
  • Blue Bayou Restaurant
  • The Diamond Horseshoe

Its unknown at this time what the specific beverages will be, but if its anything like Tokyo DisneySea, there will likely be Kirin Ichiban beer as well as red and white wine, and sake at Restaurant Hokusai.

This is a major step, leaving Hong Kong and Shanghai has the last two “dry” Disneyland parks. Perhaps its a sign of the times, with four out of six castle parks now serving alcohol. Only time will tell if this move expands further throughout the park!
