With mobile ordering becoming more necessary in the time of social distancing, it seems that some table service restaurants at Walt Disney World may begin offering a mobile order option. Some restaurants have already introduced a mobile waitlist, now Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is offering mobile ordering.
In My Disney Experience, you can now access a Sanaa To Go option, separate from the regular Sanaa menu. From there, you can select an arrival window, just like with the mobile order at counter service restaurants. The difference here is that you are ordering food to go from a table service restaurant.
After selecting your arrival window, a Table Service To Go page pops up explaining the process. The arrival window lets the restaurant know when you will be stopping by to pick up your food. The meals are then made-to-order and you will get a notification when your order is ready.

Once you have completed your order, you can return during your selected arrival window.

This is fantastic! I won’t be ready to dine indoors until it’s much safer to do so, and this means I won’t have to miss out on one of my favorite meals this fall. I hope they expand it to other restaurants that lack outdoor seating.
