Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island at the Magic Kingdom are scheduled for an extensive refurbishment that is scheduled to start on October 5 and run through at least January 2, 2021.

The refurbishments are currently listed on the My Disney Experience app, under Park Hours & Info.

It’s unknown what exact work will be done at both locations, but with refurbishments also taking place at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, it seems the area is about to get a whole lot busier. The Liberty Square Riverboat recently underwent a routine refurbishment back in August.
