Sodexo, a Food & Beverage provider for Walt Disney World, has notified 146 employees that their furlough status will continue indefinitely, and in a document provided to the state, states the furloughs could continue until March 2021.
Sodexo says the decrease in Cast Members from Walt Disney World recalled back to work has impacted their business, thus the reason for the extended furlough status.
Cast Member furloughs were recently extended at Walt Disney World as well, which reportedly could last through November. How shameful that that line can even be written. If Disney cannot pay all of its cast members, and pay them a living wage, they have no business operating the resort. Their own cast members are going HUNGRY?!
