BREAKING: Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure Reach Capacity For Second Consecutive Day Over Columbus Day Weekend

Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure have just reached capacity as of 11:50 AM. The parks also reached capacity by 11:15 AM yesterday.

Diagon Alley is packed with guests this morning.

Just like yesterday, the parks opened at 9:00 AM and Universal Studios Florida saw a surge of guests coming through the gates. The increased demand is likely due to the long Columbus Day holiday weekend.

The parking garages have closed to additional guests, but guests staying at Universal Orlando Resort hotels and guests with single day dated tickets may still access the parks at this time.

Food and beverage lines swelled by mid-morning.

Universal Studios Florida’s two Halloween Horror Nights haunted houses are now open daily through November 1.

  1. Since they haven’t been doing park reservations like Disney, and it seemed they weren’t limiting attendance, does this mean over 100% maximum capacity for fire code standards and not COVID limited capacity standards?

  2. Good it’s about time we get back to normal. If people are too scared then they can stay home. The rest of America is ready to get back to fun since this virus isn’t deadly to most Americans.
