Disneyland Paris to Potentially Close Again Due to COVID-19 Lockdown Measures in France

Due to spikes in COVID-19 cases across France and other parts of Europe, Disneyland Paris may well see itself affected by new lockdown measures in the region. The lockdown could result in another drastic cut in operating hours or days, or potentially shut down the parks altogether for the next month or so.

The French president, Emmanuel Macron, is expected to announce new guidelines this evening after holding a second emergency meeting with government ministers. No official announcement has yet been issued by Disneyland Paris officials.

Disneyland Paris previously closed March 15 and reopened July 15, on about the same timeline as Walt Disney World in the U.S.A.

Disneyland Paris reduced hours significantly in September, with Walt Disney Studios Park only open five hours a day. Disneyland Park was closing at 6:00 PM on most days and 8:00 PM on Saturdays. Disney Village was open from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily. Earlier this month, the President of France announced a 9:00 PM curfew for the Paris region.

We’ll continue to update you on the status of Disneyland Paris as further announcements are issued.
