After a series of delays, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will be reopening on November 1 at Walt Disney World, and a full list of dining, shops, and activities has just been released for the resort.
The following offerings and experiences will be available when Disney’s Art of Animation Resort reopens. Hours of operation will be provided during your stay.

Note: The Big Blue Pool will be closed for refurbishment in early 2021. See details below.
Transportation
- Bus transportation is available from this Disney Resort hotel to the Disney theme parks and the Disney Springs area
- Disney Skyliner aerial gondolas are available to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT
Pool Refurbishment
The Big Blue Pool will be closed for refurbishment from January 11, 2021 through early April 2021. While this work takes place, other exhilarating pool and recreation offerings will remain open for your enjoyment—including Flippin’ Fins Pool, Cozy Cone Pool and the Schoolyard Sprayground.
During this time, it is possible that Guests may see or hear construction, but noise should not be heard from Guest rooms between dusk and 9:00 AM.
I am scheduled to be there 11/1. I hope this announcement means that they won’t postpone opening again.
