The desk used by artists at Main Street Cinema in Magic Kingdom has been removed and the station hidden by art displays.
The desk was used by a Cast Member who would do live sketches while guests watched. Behind the displays in the picture above, you can see the drawers from the artist’s station.
The removal of the desk does free up space in the relatively small store, making social distancing easier.
You can get a look at the old artist’s desk and station in our post about Main Street Cinema’s reopening back in July. Hopefully, this change is only temporary and we will get to see art-in-process once again at Magic Kingdom.
I wish if the whole cinema return instead of having a store in a cinema. Disneyland still has itself a cinema so why not WDW version as well.
