The EPCOT entrance experience continues to evolve. Guests visiting the theme park this morning passed through a new temperature screening area. Before entering EPCOT to see the under-construction entrance fountain and continuing demolition of Electric Umbrella and Innoventions West, guests utilize the east security screening area, which opened shortly before the COVID-19 park shutdown.
We were directed to park in the Imagine parking lot.
Guests follow a walking path at the lot’s perimeter.
Parking spaces are skipped to allow for physical distancing during arrival.
Signs and markers direct guests from the parking lot to the park entrance.
Guests follow directional signs to temperature screening.
As we approach the temperature screening area, familiar health and safety signs line the path.
Guests review the face coverings policy before reaching the temperature screening location.
Markers help to maintain social distancing at the temperature screening. The screening location has two sides.
Once through temperature screening, guests continue to security screening.
The east security screening location is in use today. Next time you head on into EPCOT, make sure to allocate extra time to go through both temperature and security screenings.
