About two weeks ago, scaffolding was erected around the lucite pylons in the future entrance fountain at EPCOT. The scaffolding was later covered in scrims, partially obscuring the view of the pylons. The scrim and most scaffolding have now been removed and the pylons are visible again.
The pylons greet guests as they walk towards Spaceship Earth. Though they are surrounded by walls as construction on the fountain continues, they are still a beautiful sight.
A worker was on some of the remaining scaffolding as we walked by.
Unfortunately, a scratch is still visible on one of the pylons.
Keep checking WDWNT for more updates on construction at EPCOT, including the new entrance fountain.
