PHOTOS: EPCOT Play! Pavilion Roof Replacement Enters Final Stages
Construction crews are a common sight at EPCOT, with many construction projects underway, including the new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction and “Harmonious.” Work on the Play! Pavilion exterior seems to be nearing completion, with only a few of the original geometric roof panels still visible.
The previous roof was a deeper shade of gold. The new panels are more muted. Some of the original triangular panels can be seen just to the right of the glass panels.
This photo was taken from near the Mission: SPACE Cargo Bay entrance. The original tiles pictured in the previous photo can be seen just above the green construction wall.

A closer look reveals the few remaining original roof panels. Note that one original is still in place at the middle of the dome along the right edge in this photo. The rooftop access hatch remains painted in the original gold shade.
The Play! Pavilion exterior appears to be entering the home stretch. Stay tuned to WDWNT for updates on interior progress and an opening date.
