PHOTOS: NEW Simba and Timon & Pumbaa Reusable Straws Arrive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Sometimes, we all ponder the questions that confound us all. “What is my purpose?” “Is there life after death?” “What do you want me to do, dress in drag and do the hula?”

You may ask what prompted that last question. The answer simply is two new reusable straws available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

The straws, which we found at an ice cream cart near DinoLand U.S.A., feature The Lion King‘s Simba and Timon & Pumbaa (which the signage had misspelled).

They came wrapped in plastic, ensuring a sanitary sip once used.

Timon, as you may have guessed, wears his lei and hula skirt, which he uses to distract the hyenas as a grown-up Simba confronts Scar.

The characters come on a removable clip, meaning that if you don’t want to decorate your drink, you can carry them on a keychain.

Meanwhile, the second straw is devoted to Simba, as he appears as a cub.

The like the Timon & Pumbaa straw, the figure is on a clip.

Now he may look cute from a distance, but when you look at his eyes… well, let’s just say some corrective lenses might be in order.

The straws sell for $4.25 each. But together, they make a set that’ll make you say “Hakuna Matata!”
