After Plexiglass dividers were installed on every ride vehicle of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, additional dividers have also since been added to pre-show rooms, and we also have a very “special” look at what it’s like to be behind plexiglass for the entirety of the ride.
Now parties are assigned to one of three colored dots within the first pre-show room. Dots are colored blue, green, or yellow.
In the first room, some of the dots have Plexiglass on two sides, so more parties can fit next to each other.
Some of the dots are just socially distanced in the center of the room.
There are similar dividers attached to the walls in the next section of the pre-show, inside the I-TS ship.
While the additional Plexiglass in pre-show rooms helps guests get through the queue faster, still only one party is being loaded per ride vehicle.
We took a ride on the prison transport to check out the views from behind a piece of Plexiglass. Watch our POV video below.
I rode RoR back in December….sat in the back row. The plexi makes very distracting reflections as I see in the video.
(Knew I should have bought stock in a plexi company last year !!!!)
