Work has begun on giving the Walt Disney World entrances a makeover in time for the resort’s 50th anniversary next year. Work has been concentrated on the Western Way entrance the past few days, and we can now see some of the new colors on the archway.

Half of the archway has been painted royal blue, which matches the recent redesign of Cinderella Castle and the Magic Kingdom toll plaza.

Some gold touches have also been added around the royal blue and on Mickey and Minnie’s signs.

Soon the “Where Dreams Come True” banner will be replaced with a banner that says “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” The Castle on clouds portion of the sign will also be removed.
