The Lunching Pad, a quick service location located just below the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover and Astro Orbiter, is set to reopen October 9. The Magic Kingdom eatery has been closed since the Walt Disney World Resort reopened in mid July. The news follows the recent reopening of The Friar’s Nook. It appears that quick service demand is on the rise.
Although the Walt Disney World website still lists The Lunching Pad as “temporarily unavailable,” a menu is posted. Offerings include slushies, fountain beverages, bottled water, a sliced roast beef sandwich, and an all-beef hot dog. It is possible that the menu will change when The Lunching Pad reopens.
