Last week, the New Fantasyland expansion flung open its gates at Tokyo Disneyland, and along with the incredible Village Shops across the way, Belle’s Village also features a meticulously detailed interpretation of the tavern from the iconic 1991 film, named La Taverne de Gaston. And while we were able to try and review all of the food on opening day thanks to a helpful friend, actually entering the tavern itself was an entirely different story—until now! We finally were able to go inside, and it’s covered not only in antlers, but also details and references to characters major and minor throughout the movie. In order to promote social distancing and prevent overcrowding, La Taverne de Gaston currently requires reservations in advance to visit. Be sure to book ahead of your visit to Tokyo Disneyland so you can chow down on the sinfully delicious French Toast Sandwich or sip on some Berry Cheer!
