Some Christmas magic has come to Universal Orlando Resort. Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure reached capacity around noon today. Of course, the parks are in the full swing of their holiday festivities, and this marks the second weekday this year (second time this week) where the parks have closed at capacity.
The parking garages have closed to additional guests, but guests staying at Universal Orlando Resort hotels and guests with single day dated tickets may still access the parks at this time. This could of course change at any time throughout the day.
The two Universal Orlando Resort theme parks reached capacity most October weekends this year.
As always, we will continue to post updates when the parks reach capacity. Guests can also call the Universal Orlando Resort Capacity Hotline at (407) 817-8317 before heading out for real-time updates on park capacity.
These are lies. I was at the park, in and out all day, the parking garages never closed, the parks never turned people away.
It’s based on the information Universal puts on their website. I imagine they sometimes want to stop more people from driving over.
Just like ripoff Disney they are making arrangements for the rich people in the $400 hotel rooms and screwing over the pass holders who already paid.
