Bright suns! Disney used today’s “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge — Storytelling Through Merchandise” session to introduce new Star Wars merchandise. The session is part of the D23 Fantastic Worlds Celebration Virtual Event. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be receiving new items throughout the coming year. Let’s take a look at some of the new merchandise.
CB-23 Droid
CB-23 arrives tomorrow, November 17 at Droid Depot in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
CB-23 is featured on the Star Wars Resistance animated series.
Droid Factory 5-Pack
Also coming soon to the Droid Depot is a 5-pack of figures. The figures are the same droids guests see outside of Droid Depot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Legacy Lightsabers
D23 Gold and Gold Family Members will have the first chance to purchase three Legacy Lightsaber hilts: Luke Skywalker, Ben Solo, and Reforged Skywalker. The hilts go on sale at shopDisney.com to those D23 Members November 19 at 12:00 PM PST. The hilts are on sale through November 21 at 11:59 PM PST.
New Legacy Lightsabers will be announced throughout 2021, culminating with the release of Cal Kestis’ lightsaber from the Jedi: Fallen Order video game. The Cal Kestis hilt won a recent fan vote.
Disney also announced that as new Legacy Lightsabers are released, older models will be retired. If you have been thinking about purchasing an older hilt, now is the time to do it.

The dianoga has an articulating neck and eye.
