Welcome to another beautiful day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s a bit overcast today, but there is plenty of holiday cheer around the park to brighten up our day. Let’s get started over at Universal Studios Florida first.

The entrance for Universal’s Holiday Experience featuring Macy’s Balloons has a few undecorated trees around the entrance now.

The Christmas tree now has a small stage set up in front. This will most likely be a socially distanced holiday entertainment or a meet and greet. We also spotted the squirrel in the tree, and he’s wearing a tiny face mask.

New York has received even more holiday decorations, with garland, baubles, and lights hung about the buildings.

Shrek, Princess Fiona, and Donkey have even decorated for the holidays.

Universal’s Holiday Experience Featuring Macy’s Balloons has received a pair of display windows. We can see maquettes of the famous balloons on display and signage directing guests to the entrance of the walkthrough.

Holiday treats are starting to roll in. Gingerbread men cookies can be found at San Francisco Candy Factory at Universal Studios Florida and Snookers & Snookers Sweet Candy Cookers at Islands of Adventure.

The entrance of Islands of Adventure seemed a little quieter than usual. The water feature wasn’t running today.

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure was experiencing an extended delay this morning, but signs around the entrance of the park assured guests that they would be opening later today. We were in Seuss Landing when we started noticing guests running through the land, which was the easiest way for us to figure out the ride had reopened.

The Grinchmas season is upon us and even more decorations have been added around the land in anticipation of a visit from the resident Whos and the Grinch himself.

The line for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure was a disaster once the attraction opened, but Team Members were doing a great job of crowd control and getting guests in queue. The posted wait time was 120 minutes shortly after they opened.

The new lockers for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey are coming along nicely. Stay tuned for our latest update for more details.

Checking in on Jurassic World VelociCoaster, the set of stairs near the Burger Digs are fully enclosed now. There is also a little bit more theming added near the track. Be sure to check out our video of the vehicles testing at full speed around the track and our latest construction update for more.

Time for us to get some curly fries from Wimpy’s and head out of here, so that’s all for today. Thanks for joining us around the parks and be sure to stay tuned for our coverage of all the exciting holiday offerings coming to the Universal Orlando Resort.
