Magic Kingdom
- Fireworks testing is scheduled for the Magic Kingdom area in Walt Disney World next week, set to take place on Monday night after park close, and the timing may suggest that this is testing for the 50th anniversary nighttime spectacular, codenamed “Project Nugget”, which is set to debut on October 1, 2021
- Work on the illuminated canopy for TRON Lightcycle / Run seems to be moving along steadily at the Magic Kingdom as new illuminated canopy pieces were installed
- As Tropical Storm Eta continues to rain down on Florida, Magic Kingdom characters are celebrating Christmas in their own rainy day versions of cavalcades and now Mickey and his friends from Mickey’s Holiday Cavalcade are celebrating Christmas in the rain
- It seems just about everyone wants to be at the Magic Kingdom for its 50th anniversary celebration, as Disney Park Pass reservations are currently fully booked for Annual Passholders at the Magic Kingdom for October 1, 2021
- Magic Kingdom has extended park hours for three weekends in December, as well as the last Sunday of November
EPCOT
- EPCOT has extended park hours for most weekends in December and one Sunday in November
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom has extended park hours for some weekends in November and December
Disney Springs
- Disney has released this year’s list of Christmas holiday food and beverage offerings at Disney Springs and we have your list of all of the items and where to find them
- While a specific date has yet to be revealed, Gideon’s Bakehouse will be opening soon at Disney Springs and Disney has shared a sneak peek at two limited-time cookies that will be available through Dec. 31 when they open soon at Disney Springs
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- This bourbon pumpkin cheesecake from The Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa may not technically be a holiday treat, but it’s perfect for fall
- We are touring the Christmas decorations at Walt Disney World resorts as the holidays fast approach, and as we’ve already visited Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, now we’re moving on to Disney’s Old Key West Resort to celebrate the holidays in Florida Keys style

- Walt Disney World has released operating hours for all four theme parks through January 30, 2021

- Ahead of next week’s D23 Fantastic Worlds Celebration virtual event, Disney has released additional information on the exciting lineup of Disney Parks presenters that will participate across five panels, spanning from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
- According to Variety, Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, In The Heights) is slated to direct the live-action remake of Disney’s Lilo and Stitch, which is still happening… apparently
