PHOTOS: Refurbishment Begins on Rivers of America in Magic Kingdom

Now that Rivers of America in Magic Kingdom has been completely drained, refurbishment work has begun.

We saw construction vehicles and workers at the Liberty Square Riverboat track near Tom Sawyer Island’s Harper’s Mill.

More signs of refurbishment beginning were further down the track, closer to Splash Mountain.

The workers seemed focused on the Harper’s Mill area of the river for now.
