Woody’s Lunch Box has reopened in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We first saw signs of this quick-service restaurant preparing to reopen earlier this month, before it was announced it would be reopening today.
The opening near the registers is designated as the entrance. Like all quick-service restaurants, guests should mobile order unless they have a special allergy request.
The other opening to the seating area is exit only. You’ll find hand sanitizer at both the entrance and exit.
Cast Members were stationed at the entrance to ensure guests have already mobile ordered before entering.
There are social distancing markers for guests waiting outside.
Cast Members were also standing at the exit to make sure guests didn’t try to enter that way.
The third opening to the dining area is roped off.
There are social distancing markers in the queue. The numbers indicate which register you are in line for.
Though it looked like “Totchos” had disappeared from the online menu, they are still available to mobile order. The menu also has two (relatively) new plant-based options: plant-based totchos and a toasted “cheddar” sandwich.
We ordered ourselves some totchos and today’s tart, which was lemon-blueberry.
“Totchos” – $8.99
Potato Barrels topped with Chili and Cheese
From our original review:
These are a solid choice. The idea behind totchos seems kind of beaten to the ground at this point, but there’s good intention here. Unfortunately the quality of tot varies across the entire dish, we received some ultra-soft ones and then others were as hard as a rock.
Lemon-Blueberry Lunch Box Tart – $4.29
Lunch Box Tart with Lemon Filling and Blueberry Frosting
From our previous review:
The tart tasted really fresh and the crust was chewy and easy to bite into. The frosting wasn’t over-hardened, a classic indicator of an old Lunch Box Tart. Trust me, you don’t want an old Lunch Box Tart!
Woody’s Lunch Box is currently open 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
