All around the Magic Kingdom, special holiday-themed desserts have shown up, bringing a bit touch of holiday magic to the park. One of those treats is a Pistachio Chai Tea Float, so let’s dive in!

Unfortunately, the Pistachio Chai Tea Float has replaced the Kakamora Float at Aloha Isle Refreshments.

Pistachio Chai Tea Float – $6.49

Pistachio soft–serve, spiced chai tea, and a red velvet cake pop ornament 

The chai tea was very mild as chai goes. It wasn’t spicy, it was a good sweet, milky chai. The soft flavor is suitable for palates unaccustomed to the taste.

The pistachio soft serve had good flavor, but again, mild taste. There was a mild nutty flavor, not as strong as some pistachio ice creams. But it was very tasty!

The cake pop, once again, was bland. It was not the normal red velvet Disney cake pop I was hoping for. It was a rich cake pop with no flavor to back it up. Careful, the red icing stains.

While the chai and pistachio flavors separately are mild, together they are dynamite. We love this float, even though it is currently taking the place of the beloved Kakamora float. The cake pop is visually pleasing if nothing else. We like that it makes otherwise unusual flavors accessible. We would definitely get this again.
