REVIEW: NEW Christmas Tree Confetti Cupcake (with a Red Velvet Hidden Mickey!) at the Magic Kingdom

While we may not be able to celebrate the holiday season as we usually would with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney is still rolling out the specialty treats to bring some festive cheer to the theme parks. Beginning today and available through December 30 at the Magic Kingdom, one of those treats is the Twice Upon a Cupcake.

We found the Twice Upon a Cupcake at the Main Street Bakery with other popular Christmas specialty treats, like the Mickey cinnamon roll with holiday icing.

This large cupcake has a vanilla sponge base, with a confetti Christmas tree cupcake on top. The vanilla and confetti layers are separated by frosting.

The frosting is very sweet, and there’s plenty of it. The lights are colored sugar candies.

The cupcake is moist, fresh, and delicious, though it’s a pretty straightforward vanilla flavor.

The red velvet hidden Mickey is the consistency of a cake pop, and while not as flavorful as normal, is very good. It also packs a great visual punch, and was surprisingly easy to reveal when cutting the cupcake open.

Overall this cupcake is really good, although very large. It would be a great treat to share.

This festive cupcake is available at the Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom, and will be available to purchase from November 6th to December 30th. Will you stopping by to grab this adorable treat? Let us know in the comments below.
