The Disney Skyliner is once again operating, doing so on generator power. According to a WDWNT Marathon viewer, power was restored just after 7:33 PM. All guests have been evacuated from the gondola line. The Skyliner stopped running at around 5:30 PM.
The Skyliner also experienced an unexpected shutdown yesterday at the Riviera Resort Station. That shutdown lasted 20 minutes. There is no word whether yesterday’s downtime was also a power issue.
In October 2019, a gondola collision at the Riviera Resort Station shut down the Skyliner for over one week.
WDWNT will update this story if more details become available.
