BREAKING: Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure Reach Capacity by 11:00 AM

Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure have both reached capacity once again today at approximately 11:01 AM. Universal Orlando Resort does not anticipate that it will reopen today. The parks last reached capacity on December 12.

According to the Universal Orlando Resort Twitter, they expect to reopen the parks later today.

Walkways were crowded throughout Universal Studios Florida this morning.

The parking garages have closed to additional guests, but guests staying at Universal Orlando Resort hotels may still access the parks at this time.

Thanksgiving and holiday offerings lead to capacity closures over the past few weeks and yesterday was also particularly busy. Keep checking WDWNT for more updates from Universal Orlando Resort.
