Hello from a beautiful day at EPCOT! With the sudden cold snap behind us, we enjoyed the perfect park weather and took a stroll around World Showcase to find all the new things here to show you. Let’s get started!
With the New Year drawing ever closer, 2021 merchandise is making it’s way slowly into the parks. We found this new pen set at Pin Traders for $17.99.
We also found this 2021 picture frame magnet for $12.99.
When we checked in at Mouse Gear, we found the new Mobile Checkout system in place and ready for guests to use. This is currently the only location using the new system in Walt Disney World, but hopefully that will change soon!
Before moving on to World Showcase, we checked on the construction happening around the park. Plywood panels have been added to the metal framing on the roof of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Work was still being done in the ceiling of Innoventions East, and with most of the building gutted, the view of pretty clear from where we were to the other end of the building.
Demolition to Innoventions West has accelerated, with about half of the exterior walls gone now, and the entire building gutted in what seems to be just a matter of days.
Moving into World Showcase, we came across Santa on his holiday cavalcade. We just love these decorated carriages!
We found a new pair of ears today, and we are in love with them! These beautiful embroidered ears are the new look for the Mexico Pavilion, and we are loving all the hidden Mickey’s in this design. For more pictures and information, check out our full article here.
While we were in the Mexico Pavilion, we also found this adorable new mug featuring Mickey and Minnie dancing under a banner spelling out “Mexico”. It retails for $14.99.
We also found this new 3-D acrylic keychain for $12.99.
While we were making our way around World Showcase, we noticed that the Olaf in the Germany Pavilion in the Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition had been moved to a different spot. We won’t give too much away, but this little guy is in a new location than he was on the opening day of the Festival of the Holidays.
We found a new Dooney & Bourke MagicBand in the Italy Pavilion. This new MagicBand matches the new merchandise line that has recently debuted in the Italy Pavilion. We are loving this style!
In the Morocco Pavilion, some of the small stores that circle the larger market in the Pavilion have been emptied, and are being used as storage for fixtures. We’ve been watching the market, which used to be overflowing with every type of trinket imaginable, become sparsely stocked. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this Pavilion.
In the France Pavilion expansion, work continues on the hand painted wall art. The flowers look beautiful!
We had a wonderful day at EPCOT, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
We just got back from a week in Orlando. I used the mobile check out at Mouse Gear and it went very smooth. Didn’t have to stand in line at all.
