Welcome to a chilly winter day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. We arrived to find low crowds and made our way through CityWalk towards Islands of Adventure first.
The cooler weather and potential rain early in the day seemed to be keeping the crowds away.
These are the kind of days we love to be in the park.
We noticed many of the Park Services Team Members are wearing new “Clean is Universal” vests now.
There was a lot happening around the Jurassic World VelociCoaster. The lights around the raptor paddock were lit and alternating between red and blue.
The vehicles were out testing around the track. This vehicle was missing the front part of the train and had water dummies for riders.
These vehicles look amazing in person. We love all the details, including the Jurassic World logo towards the back of the train. We watched the testing from several spots around the park so be sure to check out our post with video and more details.
Wossamotta U has reopened in Toon Lagoon. There’s plenty of “Trolls” and “The Secret Life of Pets” merchandise available here.
Over at Universal Studios Florida, we spotted a new Earl the Squirrel magnet available for $12.
We took a look inside the Ben & Jerry’s window and spotted some ladders, paint, and other supplies that might indicate some changes now that the park has started serving Haagen-Dazs.
The letters “L” and “B” were missing, but have returned to the NBC Sports Grill and Brew.
There’s a UOAP Exclusive Raspberry Truffle cocktail available at CityWalk. Stay tuned for our full review!
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for joining us today and be sure to keep following Universal Parks News Today for more updates.
